Occupy iOS Folders – The Case of the Bad UX

Yes, Steve Jobs was a genius and Apple is all about user experience. They are amazing, blah blah blah, yada yada yada. There’s no doubt that the iPhone and iPad are both amazing pieces of hardware and that the iOS is an operating system for mobile phones that changed the everything. There’s also no arguing that Jobs had a very strong attention to detail.

But I really think that the folders on the iOS are a great example of a very, very bad user experience. Every time I’m using a folder on my iPhone or iPad, I can’t ignore the feeling that this could and should have been done better. I sometimes even feel like the folders design is an evil-doing of Microsoft or Google, just to make people switch to their platforms.

There is nothing that I find more frustrating than a person that comes to an interview unprepared. For me, coming to an interview fully prepared shows that you are really interested in the job, that you are serious, and that you are willing to put in the extra time and effort required.
