Day to day internet users all have that their home base. That one website you either have set as your homepage or just automatically enter the URL without thinking about it. For search engine junkies it might be Google, for humour lovers it might be Cracked, for people who work from their computer it might be your email, and for the social butterflies it might be Facebook. It makes sense because these sites offer something daily we want to check out. But like most people, you have more than one site you love to visit everyday. Wouldn’t it be great to have those sites wrapped into one? Well, rounds.com is getting close. Check out these applications that enhance your facebook and 6rounds experience at the same time.

First off, once you register on 6rounds, you can invite all your friends from facebook to join too. Instead of posting on someone’s wall, you can have a face to face conversation with them over your webcam. No need to worry your tone won’t get across in a message, or wondering if your friend stepped away from their computer during a long pause. They are right there talking to you.

6rounds also has a lot of applications you simply can’t get through facebook or a standard webcam chat. You can play a ton of games while still talking to a friend over your cam. Playing chess? Watch your friend sweat as you back his king into a corner. Play truth and dare while making sure your friend actually completes the dare. Or team up to beat a game together. You can also look at the pictures that have been uploaded to facebook while talking together on a webcam. Make fun of your other friends, show them the embarrassing new photo you just tagged them in, or remember how much fun tobogganing was while you are sweating through your T-Shirt.

Once you and your friends are members of 6rounds, make sure to sign up to the facebook page. There you can check out the newest blog posts, see the latest news, see who else is a member, or check out the photo albums. You’ll be sent notices about events that are happening.

If you’re anything like me, setting up a profile for anything can be a pain. Sure you want people to know about you, but what do you say so you don’t come off badly? Just import your account information from facebook. That’s what I did. Check it out. I uploaded the one picture I think I look half decent in (be kind) as my profile picture and imported the rest.

Facebook isn’t the only site you can have fun on while visiting 6rounds. Want to see your friends’ reaction to the newest youtube video? Have a session and youtube together. All your friends on Gmail? Don’t worry, you can add them. 6rounds is adding innovative applications from the most popular sites across the web.
