The Easiest Way to Play Online Games

Chess Pieces

I’ve always been a huge game fan. But I’m not what you would call a “gamer.” As things got more complicated, I got less interested. I’m a big believer that Super Nintendo was and will forever be the best console ever created. I mean Zelda, Chrono Trigger, Zombies Ate My Neighbors? I dare you to name a modern game that beats any of those. And any time I can arm twist enough people, I always try to get a board game going. I haven’t lost a game of monopoly in a long time. Another favorite of mine has always been chess. Even though it may seem simple on the outside, you can play it a million times and never play the same game twice. Also, there’s strategy involved, and you don’t live or die on the throw of the dice. The nice thing about board games isn’t the simplicity, but the interaction with the people you’re playing with. It’s not artificial intelligence or disembodied voices, but a real, live person. 6rounds offers games that you can play with the person right in front of you, whether that person be a friend, family member, or complete stranger. Games like:

Infected Qwertys

Infected Qwertys is great if you like shooting games. Blow away once cute but now blood thirsty aliens with your rifle as they rush towards you. You can play by yourself and see how many you can get in 60 seconds or have a round with someone and work together to survive the Qwertys. Just remember, the winner is the one who gets the most kills, so don’t get distracted by the camaraderie.

Chess

The classic game that has more strategy involved and more books written about it than any other game ever made. Debates have raged for centuries about the best opening move. For novices, an ancient game that intellectuals have been studying since olden days may seem intimidating, but if you don’t take it too seriously, it can be a lot of fun. And you feel pretty clever when you get good enough to actually get your opponent in a trap. Even if you know almost nothing about chess, give it a try with a stranger. He’ll probably help you through the basics and you’ll be a master (or at least competent) and having fun in no time.

Checkers

A less intimidating game than chess to be sure, but no less fun. It’s the game we all played during those rainy days that we couldn’t have recess outside. You try to get all the other players pieces while working your ways towards the king. The best part if, thanks to 6rounds, you never have to look very far for a checkers partner again. If you want to play it, there’s someone out there waiting for you.

Truth or Dare

Now this is an experience you’re unlikely to find outside of 6rounds or your eight grade slumber party. Truth or dare. Either choose to pour your soul out or do something that’s humiliating, gross, or both at the same time. There’s a 6round twist though, which is that the person telling the truth or doing the dare is chosen by the spin of a bottle. Odds are it will work out evenly, but maybe the stars will shine on you and the bottle will always go the other way. Or maybe you’ll always be the one in the hot seat. It has less strategy than most games, but it is one of the quickest and easiest ways to get to know someone.

Backgammon

Ah…backgammon. That game that was…uh, inexplicably important on Lost. Okay, I’ll admit, before I tried out 6rounds I only had the vaguest idea what backgammon is. But it is actually a fun game! Trust me! It combines chess, checkers, and is actually the inspiration for most board games. Warning though, it is a difficult, so I suggest reading up on it. And try it out with a friend. Before you get really good, at least you’ll have someone to laugh with as you struggle.
