We are thrilled to announce the release of 5 new HTLM5 games, now available on our iOS and Android apps. Rounds is the first hangout network to bring mobile gaming inside live video conversations and we can’t wait to hear your feedback.
Here are some details about the new games:
Similar to Zynga’s Draw Something, PenPals is a fun drawing game with a twist – both users draw and guess at the same time, adding a layer of urgency to the experience. This game was developed by Guerillapps.
A Tetris-like game with both users playing simultaneously, seeing a real-time measuring stick of how high their chat partner has built their blocks – another example where live game play during video chatting adds to the excitement. Developed by Lior Paz.
Users can play classic board games of checkers, chess and backgammon during live video chats. Developed by CodeHeads.
All games were developed using our API. If you’re not familiar with it, Rounds’ API currently offers game developers their only way to design HTML5 games, synchronized between users in the real-time experience of a live, mobile video chat environment.
