Valentine’s Day: the day that couples look forward to celebrating and all single girls dread. The day that girlfriends spend weeks preparing for their boyfriends and unattached females find ways to distract themselves. 1. The Office “Valentine’s Day” (2011)

In this hilarious episode, the employees of Dunder Mifflin receive funny Valentine’s Day gifts. Angela (Angela Kinsey) gives Dwight (Rainn Wilson) a “Dwight” bobblehead doll, and in exchange he gives her a key to his home. Pam (Jenna Fischer) gets no presents from her boyfriend while she has to watch Phyllis (Phyillis Smith) constantly receive presents throughout the day.

2. Charlie Brown “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown” (1975)

In this classic Charlie Brown episode, good ole’ CB is sad about his lack of Valentine’s Day cards, until Violet feels bad for him and gives him one. Poor Linus has a crush on teacher Miss Othmar and has to watch her leave with her boyfriend before she can get the chocolates he bought for her.

3. Glee “Silly Love Songs” (2011)

Love it or hate it, this Glee episode offers some great love songs, and the Valentine’s Day spirit is felt throughout the whole show. Puck (Mark Salling) confesses his love to the new Glee member, and Finn (Cory Monteith) and Quinn (Dianna Argon)’s kiss at the kissing booth helps rekindle the feelings they have for each other. The lovey dovey episode ends with a cast-wide performance of Katy Perry’s “Firework.”

4. Friends “The One With the Candy Hearts” (1995)

When Chandler (Matthew Perry) goes on a double-Valentine’s Day date with Ross (David Schwimmer), he accidentally gets set up with ex-girlfriend Janice (Maggie Wheeler). Back at the apartment, Monica (Courtney Cox), Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) throw a Valentine’s day bonfire that ends up with a hilarious visit from the fire department.

5. The Jefferson’s “I Buy The Songs” (1981)

George Jefferson (Sherman Hemsley) knows that he is not the best with romantic gifts for Valentine’s Day for his wife, especially compared to his neighbor. So when he forgets all about a gift, he decides to write her a romantic song.

6. 30 Rock- “St. Valentine’s Day” (2009)

Leave it to 30 Rock to give us a Valentine’s Day episode that only they could pull off. Liz (Tina Fey) plans a date with her neighbor Dr. Drew (John Hamm). The only problem is, she accidentally schedules it on Valentine’s Day. After a disastrous first date at her house that includes him seeing her on the toilet, they end the night at the hospital and secrets about his family are revealed.

7. Boy Meets World, “First Girlfriends Club” (1998)

On this favorite Boy Meets World episode, Shawn (Rider Strong) receives flowers with a note to meet his Valentine’s Day date in a boathouse. When he arrives, he finds out he was set up by his ex-girlfriends who kidnap him to teach him a lesson. Meanwhile, Topanga (Danielle Fishel) finds out on V-day that Cory (Ben Savage) kissed another girl…oh no!

8. Full House “Joey’s Funny Valentine” (1994)

In this Valentine’s Day themed episode, Joey (Dave Coulier) starts dating a stand-up comedian that he brings to the house to meet the whole family. The relationship lasts up until she decides to make fun of his friends during her comedy club act.

9. Grey’s Anatomy “Valentine’s Day Massacre” (2010)

It’s Valentine’s Day at the hospital and a roof collapsed at a popular V-Day restaurant leading to many traumas. Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Alex (Justin Chambers) question the suspicious event and try to find out more information. Miranda (Chandra Wilson) admits her feelings for the “gas man.” Meanwhile, Mark (Eric Dane)’s daughter shows up at the hospital, and has to figure out if she’s giving up her baby for adoption or not.

10. The Simpsons “I Love Lisa” (1993)

This Valentine’s Day themed episode is also considered one of the best Simpsons episode ever. This definitely makes our list of top V-Day episodes, as who can forget the cute “I choo-choo-choose you” train V-Day card Lisa gets from classmate Ralph Wiggum. She then breaks poor Ralph’s heart on TV by revealing to him her true feelings.
